What You Learn:
HLSD is able to teach EFR, where possible we will fit you course around your schedule but normally runs over a few evenings. The course incorporates independent study to prepare you for a classroom and hands-on skill development session with your instructor.
Councilor Ron Tindall presented a cheque for £ 500.00 to Harbour Lights SCUBA Diving Club and Matthews Sharks SCUBA Diving Club a few weeks ago after a request for funds to buy a Resusci Anne and other 1st Aid training equipment for the two local SCUBA diving clubs. The other Resusci Anne we had was over twenty years old and had seen better days. We knew this, when on our last 1st Aid course her head came off in one of the students hands. Bill Pratt the 1st Aid instructors at the time pronounced Resusci Anne, dead.
HLSD teaches Power boat Level One and Level Two course.
Harbour Lights Scuba Diving (HLSD) is a Scuba Diving Club based in Hemel Hempstead.
Teaching a range of skills including becoming a PADI qualified SCUBA diver.
As a club we are also open to qualified divers to come along and join us and you don't need to be PADI trained, we are a club for divers from all recognised SCUBA Diving Organizations; BSAC, PADI, SSI, SSA etc.
